Leadership

The people accountable for the standard

Five functional principals report to the Chief Executive, each carrying delegated authority within their domain and each answerable for a distinct discipline of the delivery standard. Between them they hold the entire chain: to pursue the work, to price it, to engineer it, to govern its execution and to account for it.

Sisanda Ndamase
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Sisanda Ndamase

Incorporated the company in 2015 and conducted it from a single municipal monitoring engagement to a national ICT company operating across eight provinces. Sets the standard the business is measured against, and holds strategy, governance, accreditation and product direction.

Technical grounding

  • Network infrastructure and monitoring — the discipline the company was founded on
  • Product direction of Smart DMS, conceived, built and published on the Microsoft commercial marketplace under KBS's own ISV profile
  • Architect of the company's quality and security systems — ISO 9001:2015 certification, an ISO/IEC 27001-aligned ISMS and ISO 15489 records governance

Commercial leadership

  • Built the bid function and its playbook — the discipline behind every submission the company makes
  • Established OEM and channel partnerships across Microsoft, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Fortinet and the accredited distribution channel
  • Leads the company's enterprise development and transformation agenda, including KBS Academy

Cebo Mtshali

  • Switch configuration and network architecture
  • On-site engineering leadership
  • Third-line escalation
Zizile Ndamase

  • Mandate-to-scope translation

Delivery governance

Two authorities, one concurrence

The technical team reports jointly to Cebo Mtshali and Cwenga Mbam. Cebo holds engineering standards, design validation and escalation; Cwenga holds schedule, scope, change control and client acceptance.

Neither authority is exercised without the other's concurrence — the mechanism that prevents a technically elegant solution from arriving late, and a punctual one from arriving unfit for purpose.

Larger rollouts are scaled through vetted specialist subcontractors operating under KBS project governance, supervision, quality sign-off and back-to-back payment terms.
